Luxurious resort made for a relaxing getaway.

I was deeply disappointed with the beach's size. It was much smaller than advertised. The beach on the private island barely existed, ruining the experience for my birthday trip. I was expecting a special treat in our room, but nothing was provided at all.

Great and gorgeous location, it was next to the beach and the main restaurant. In general the staff were amicable and very polite.

The staff was helpful and very very helpful, they showed us what great service is supposed to be like. The food was great, with a wide array of options.

Some people working there were kind of rude.

Initially, I requested the "Crystal Lagoon Hideaway Swim-up Club Junior Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub" but ended up in a room without the swim-up feature. The day after my birthday, I had to move rooms due to this issue, waking early for an unexpected shift. I was charged an extra $291 for the third night in a room where the power went out, leaving us without electricity, phone, or WiFi. My birthday celebration turned into packing and relocating in the dark. On another note, the beach was smaller than expected, and the private island beach was nearly non-existent. Some positives included nice pools, efficient transfers to another resort, and friendly staff interactions. I genuinely felt disappointed, especially since I expected something special for my birthday but received nothing extra in the room. The experience left me questioning a return to Sandals locations in the future.

You'll need 5 minutes to walk to Facebaar Jamaica with nice drinks. Mahee Bay is really walkable.

Luxurious resort, convenient location, the fine beach access made it easy to unwind and enjoy my vacation while being just a short drive from the nearest airport.
